I know, because I was once there. Less than a decade ago, I struggled with the superficial noise of what ‘perfect’ womanhood was supposed to be.
I checked off the boxes that I believed my success depended on — as a biotech scientist and working mom trying to ‘do it all’.
Yet I found myself feeling more disconnected from myself, and how I truly wanted to make an impact in my community.
When I left the biotech industry and transitioned away from a field driven by logic and precision, it became an eye-opening experience that completely reshaped my views on why social constructs are far more powerful influencers of our well-being than any information and data.
Fed up by society’s definition of ‘wellness’, I joined forces with women changemakers from across the country to dissect our culture’s influence on mental health. I was tapped to lead social impact events & campaigns for national brands and global organizations to ignite meaningful conversations on women’s mental health.
And it was through this journey that I found my answer —
